What to wear to Reading & Leeds festival
Knowing the UK’s unpredictable forecasts, we can expect the festival to be a little... damp. So it's worth preparing for rain and muddy fields with lightweight jackets and comfortable footwear. Band T-shirts, cargo trousers and denim shorts are a classic, versatile foundation, which can be elevated with festival accessories to add your own flair.

Reading & Leeds outfits based on headliners
Charli XCX
If 'Brat green' doesn't immediately come to mind, we don't know what will. The bold, lime hue that dominated summer 2024 is guaranteed to let everyone around know who you’re here for, whether you wear it as a T-shirt or an accessory. Not into neon? Take notes from the singer’s everyday grunge style instead. Think capris, biker jackets and crop tops with witty slogans. Don’t forget to reach for her signature round sunglasses too. A practical staple for the fields with peak party girl energy.
Chase & Status
There are two types of rave outfits. The first goes all out with bright colours, psychedelic prints and bold styles made to turn heads. The second keeps things low-key, leaning into laid-back streetwear with graphic T-shirts, cargos and easy layers. Whichever vibe you’re going for, be sure it’s comfortable and breathable. There’s a high chance that you’ll be moving non-stop throughout this entire set!
Dave
Braving the three-day campout? You might want to take cues from Dave’s signature look. His sleek yet relaxed aesthetic is built on versatile pieces you can easily mix and match all weekend. Co-ordinated T-shirts and shorts are a failsafe choice, as well as baggy jeans with a nice top that adds an urban edge.
Florence + The Machine
‘70s fashion is back, and there’s no better place to go all-out than in this crowd. Thanks to our Click & Collect range, nailing the brief is surprisingly easy. Our new-in fringe and ruffle tops are a solid choice, especially when teamed with flared jeans or a tiered maxi skirt. Don’t forget to add a faux suede bag to your look for a boho-chic moment, AKA the blueprint of boho-chic.
Fontaines DC
Nodding to the festival’s punk roots, Fontaines D.C.'s style makes for an easy festival fit. If it’s not a black mini dress, a striped shirt layered over an oversized boxy tee delivers an elevated casual look. Ultimately, the band are big fans of repping music tees. Choose your favourite and style with chunky jewellery.
RAYE
RAYE’s aesthetic blends old-school Hollywood glamour with modern edge, offering the perfect base for your festival outfit. While we don’t recommend wearing a floor-length gown to the fields, you can channel elements of her look through sequins, feathers and bodycon silhouettes. A sequin midi skirt is a no brainer. Just picture it glistening in the sunlight with every step you take!
