We need capable staff to make sure that our customers find what they want, whether it's products or information, and we'd encourage you to come up with ideas to make these and other things work more efficiently. Who we're looking for

The people who work for us in our stores need to reflect the company's culture and values. They need to be bright, enthusiastic and always helpful - to customers and other members of their team. And they must want to keep improving the way that they and Penneys work.

If that describes you and you'd like to work for Penneys, we definitely want to hear from you. We're looking for part-time and full-time, temporary and permanent retail assistants, salesfloor supervisors and stockroom supervisors.

Minimum entry requirements

The minimum entry requirements are:

  • Strong communication skills and use of English language
  • 2 years' work experience ideally within retail environment
  • Previous experience of working in busy environment as part of a team
  • Qualified to GCSE level (or equivalent)
  • Validity to work in the country of choice
