The Make-Up Kit Of Dreams
By Rebecca Gillam
We all kind of wish we had a make-up artist. Not just for those times when we want to look ah-mazing, but every day, for that totally natch ’I woke up like this’ look. Sadly, IRL, the total opposite happens; we always end up getting late and bronzing on the bus or contouring in the car. Though we've accepted we probably aren’t going to get an entourage any time soon, we’re not on board with average make-up. That’s why we’ve created Pro Brushes. Now you can look totally ‘Grammable, with your own skills alone!
Contouring, highlighting, baking and all the trends you’ve spent ages trying to master are a cinch with the new range. As well as specially designed brush heads, they come with a step-by-step on how to use them. Preen queens, get excited — here’s what we’ve got for you…
Cream Contour Brush, €4
This clever brush is the perfect multitasker for contouring and strobing. The clever tapered end allows for precise application, so you just pat on your product and blend.
Powder Contour Brush, €4
If you're not a cream product girl, we’ve got this classic brush for no-fuss contouring. Just knock off excess powder and sweep over the cheekbones and down the sides of your nose for a catwalk-worthy look.
Foundation Brush, €4
An old classic, this brush is the one for creating a flawless complexion with liquid foundations. Apply it sparingly and build up to achieve a medium to full coverage, blending with the special synthetic head.
Large Duo Buffing Brush, €4
This brush has been made with lighter coverage in mind. In circular motions, blend the liquid foundation into the skin for a no-filter-needed finish, or — multitask alert! — use with dry powders.
Lip Brush, €2
They’ve got a bad rep, but lip brushes are actually a must for a perfect pout. Bullets lack precision and can get quite gross, but the synthetic head will blend in any harsh lip liners and allow you to get it just right.
Duo Silicone Brush Set, €4
This will literally transform your festival looks. Anyone who's ever tried to create a look with glitter will know it can get pretty messy, but the Glitter Application Brush allows for precise application of loose and cream pigments. The Silicone Eye Liner Brush nib allows for even more detail.
Eyeshadow Shading Brush, €4
This natty little brush is all you need to create an intense colour pop on the lids. You can use it with powder or cream product (but, Team Primark tip: not both at the same time, as it will get cakey).
Concealer Brush, €3
This is your skin saviour. Whether it’s eye bags or blemishes, just pop a bit of concealer on the domed brush and blend it into the skin. Remember to always set with a transparent powder to keep it looking fresher for longer.
Angled Eyeliner Brush, €2
Don’t be put off gel liners, they’re actually not that hard to work. To make your eyes look bigger, apply along the upper lash line and finish with a slick of mascara.
Powder Brush, €4
Try swapping in your powder sponge with a brush for a more natural finish. The tapered head is good for precision application if you want it to double up as a bronzer brush, and it also fits neatly under the eyes for setting concealer.
Touch-Up Brush, €4
This is an on-the-go must for keeping your make-up shine-free and flawless. Pop the brush into your loose powder, knock off any excess and blot onto oily areas for a picture-ready finish.
Duo Blending Brush Set, €4
A smoky eye girl’s dream, the eyeshadow blending brush sweeps colour evenly across the lids, while the Socket Blending Brush has a tapered edge to fit the contours.
Duo Precision Brush Set, €4
This is the ultimate eye kit. The Tapered Crease Brush is for building intense colour on the lids, for a wow factor date night look. The Pencil Smudge Brush gives more precision, allowing controlled application along the lash line. Just FYI — it’s the best thing ever for applying highlighter down your nose and in the inner corners of your eye.
