Out of Compton: Transitional 15

Set to a backdrop of brutal brickwork, this autumn transitional trend, entitled 'Out of Compton' mirrors all the aspects of this location with its urban edge - a key element of the look. Strength and structure can be found in the utilitarian aspects of this collection offering durable yet comfortable looks for mens casualwear.

This trend takes inspiration from the 90’s with looser fits and silhouettes. We see a move away from t-shirts and shorts as the temperatures calm and begin to cool.

This look largely draws inspiration from work-wear, modernising and refreshing items such as cargo trousers, utility boots and flannel checked shirts. Street-smart sportswear elements can also be seen, coming through strongest for accessories with baseball caps, hi-top runners and white contrast coloured soles on tan desert boots.

The overall colour palette is kept neutral with warm sand hues, whites and soft greys. An injection of colour comes into play from print pattern with checked fabrications, such as the plaid flannel shirt, in bold red and black and indigo blues from the dark wash denim.

An important styling detail when adopting this look is to think about layering, keep the layers light and loose. Moving on from slim cut trousers, it’s now all about baggy silhouettes with dropped-crotch joggers, oversized chinos and roomy-fit denim. Perfect for the seasonal transition.
