Meet the Model: Sam
Forget coasting, it's defos all about kicking and pushing for this skateboarding model. Sam, a London native, stays woke and inspired on-the-go, thanks to his home city's eclecticism, and maintains a go get 'em mantra. A straight-up boarder with an attitude-smacked aesthetic, from his gilded gob to his unconventional hybrid of profession and pastime, we knew he'd complement our squad of generation-defining non-conformists, perfectly. Lads and ladies: meet Sam.
How would you define yourself?
I’m 19 years old. From London. My outlook on life is: LET’S GO GET IT!
Describe your generation in 3 words.
Not the previous.
What motivates you?
Skateboarding and fashion. When I was 8 years old, I had a small toy skateboard but it broke. My cousin then gave me a hand-me-down skateboard and from then on I was hooked.
Complete the sentence: “What the world needs now is...”
Who inspires you?
My inspirations change daily... hourly even. Walking through the streets I can get an idea and feel inspired, just from looking at the different people I see.
What would your dream party be like and who would be on the guest list?
It would be like Project X on a boat, some jet skis, proper rockstar stuff.
What does being woke mean to you?
Just being aware of and understanding the world outside of your own limited perspective.
