Meet The Models: Leanne

Leanne is no stranger to Primark. The rainbow-haired beauty has blessed our pages before and she's at it again (this time it's blue hair don't care). The blogging babe is without doubt one of the original blogosphere queens, using the digital world to cultivate a following of fashion-savvy onliners who want to see real people rocking the latest looks. Now, it's all about social media, and no one knows it better than those who grew up online. We took five with Leanne, who features in our all-encompassing AW17 concept, My Generation, to talk all things inspirational, motivational, and (of course) hashtag-worthy. Come say hi...

Primark AW17

Leanne, 27, beauty blogger

How would you define yourself?

I'm an online content creator with ever-changing coloured hair, focusing on fashion, travel and makeup.

Describe your generation in 3 words.

Passionate. Resilient. Entrepreneurs.

What motivates you?

I'm passionate about imagery. This started during my teens as I got into photography. I love the self-expression and memories captured through the medium.

What would your dream party be like and who would be on the guest list?

My dream party would be my wedding day: somewhere with good weather, lots of food, music, friends and family. Photographers and videographers to capture the day. Lots of dancing and happy memories being made.

What's the best advice you've been given?

Do not compare yourself to others. We are all running our own race in life, we aren’t competing against each other. Supporting another won’t dampen your own success.

How important is social media to you?

Social media is the most effective way of speaking to our generation. It’s important to be aware of what you’re putting out as you need to own your actions; without realising it you may become a role model. For many, like myself, social media is a platform to earn a living. From hobbies at home, we are now able to experience things we never dreamed were possible.

If you had your own hashtag what would it be?

#ChaseYourReality. This is tattooed on my arm. It’s a reminder that things don’t just happen, you have to work for them.

Complete the sentence: “What the world needs now is...”
