With a roster including Harry Styles, Josh O’Connor and Emma Corrin, to name a few, Harry Lambert is fast becoming a household name and for good reason. Keep scrolling for the lowdown on his personal style and how he got into fashion.

His work has been front and centre of late as the mastermind behind Harry Styles’ iconic Gucci Venice Film Festival looks and THOSE ‘Love On Tour’ stage outfits. Most recently, Mr Lambert joined us on set of our Breast Cancer Awareness campaign in a styling capacity.

With a signature style that he describes as, ‘camp, joyful and chic,’ and boasts head-turning, playful looks, Harry emphasised the importance of having fun with fashion and how that impacted his style inspirations.

“I grew up loving what I wore yet not knowing about brands or designers and I guess I was somewhat nervous to be too daring in my personal dressing, but as I grew up and I started to learn about fashion I found it so exciting and joyful. In short, fashion is a great way to make an impactful first impression and experiment.”

Best known for being the mastermind behind some of Harry Styles’ most iconic looks, his route into the fashion industry was not as clear-cut as his esteemed career suggests.

“I studied photography at university and immediately knew I didn’t want to be a photographer. I spent my time shooting the clothes of the fashion design students, interning while on breaks from studying at magazines in London, making as many contacts as I could.”

When prompted for advice for any budding stylists looking to get their foot in the door he said: “What I have learnt in this industry is to make friends while on your journey. Those I met assisting/interning in my early days are people I work with every day now.

Harry recently joined us on set of our Breast Cancer Awareness campaign as a stylist. To mark Breast Cancer Awareness month and in memory of the late Sarah Harding, Primark teamed up with Sarah’s former bandmates and friends to create an exclusive nightshirt and pyjama set to raise awareness of breast cancer.

This October we are proud to support her selected UK charities, Cancer Research UK and The Christie Charitable Fund in her memory. We are giving 50% of the sales price from our two specially designed night wear products to these two charities, which will help fund an important research project into breast cancer in younger women, particularly those with no family history of the disease, helping doctors react faster should a cancer develop. This could mean that people like Sarah could go on to have a higher chance of a good outcome.
