Meet your new signature scent…
By Rebecca Gillam
Perfumes have always been one of those unfairly expensive things in life. It’s almost impossible not to blow your whole month’s budget on a single bottle. That is, until the nice people at Primark heard your calls...for one that smells dreamy, looks mega-chic, and will create a shelfie of dreams. Oh! And then made six: meet the Private Collection!
For just $4.50, you can now snap up one of our fab new unisex fragrances — Rose Oud, Pomegranate & Black Tea, Jasmine & Honey, Vanilla Absolute, Amber Noir and Mandarin & Basil. Though you can get a 100ml bottle for $11, the 20ml versions are perfect for on-the-go spritzing, plus taking with on vacay. Battling with those teeny plastic liquid bags can be zero fun, so make the whole thing less stressful with handy minis.
When you find your fave, you can kit out your space with the delicately scented hand wash ($6), shea butter and vitamin E-enriched hand cream ($6) and fragrance oil to match. Plus, the hand cream comes in a handbag-sized 50ml!
The only thing you have to think about: which scent? We'll give you the 411…
The Rose Oud is perfectly toned: the petals and spices blend with the fruity top notes of lemon, mandarin and raspberry for a radiant, opulent infusion.
Known at Primark HQ as the "scent equivalent of a hot red dress", Pomegranate & Black Tea is your new spicy, sophisticated date-night perfume. Think flamenco emoji sass...
Like you'd expect, Jasmine & Honey has a vacay vibe. The citrus top notes lighten up the heady sandalwood, cedarwood and musks, making it calming and romantic.
Vanilla Absolute is a real party perfume! All feathers and champagne sparkles, it’s unashamedly fruity and floral with ambery, woody base notes.
The badass of the bunch, Amber Noir comes in a sleek black bottle. Inspired by Moroccan sands at dusk, it’s an exotic mix of jasmine, suede and tonka bean with bursts of spicy amber.
Mandarin & Basil is an instant classic. It’s refreshing and delicious: a breeze in a summer sky, basil and pine leaves blending with mandarin and bergamot
Of course, you could take them all! Just be prepped for your pals to ask about your new scent… And copy you, obvs.
