The Makeup Kit Of Dreams
By Rebecca Gillam
We all kinda wish we had our own personal makeup artist. Not just for when we need to look ah-mazing, but every day, for that totally natch "I woke up like this" look. Sadly, IRL it's the total opposite: we get up late and bronze on the bus or contour in the car. Though we've (sorta) accepted we're probably not getting an entourage anytime soon, we’re NOT on board with average makeup. That’s why we’ve created Pro Brushes. Now you can look totally ‘Grammable with your own skills alone!
Contouring, highlighting, baking...all the trends you’ve spent ages trying to master are a snap with the new collection. As well as specially designed brush heads, they come with a step-by-step on how to use them. Preen queens, get excited — here’s what we have just for you…
Cream Contour Brush, $4.50
This smart brush is the perfect multitasker for contouring and strobing. The clever tapered end allows for precise application – so you just pat on your product and blend.
Powder Contour Brush, $4.50
Not a cream product girl? We have this classic brush for no-fuss contouring. Just tap off excess powder, and sweep over the cheekbones and down the sides of your nose for a catwalk-worthy look.
Foundation Brush, $4.50
An old classic, this brush is the one for creating a flawless complexion with liquid foundations. Apply it sparingly, and build up to get medium to full coverage, blending with the special synthetic head.
Large Duo Buffing Brush, $4.50
This brush is made with lighter coverage in mind. In circular motions, blend the liquid foundation into the skin for a no-filter-needed finish, or (multitask alert!) use with dry powders.
Lip Brush, $2.50
They have a bad rep, but lip brushes are actually a must for a perfect pout. Bullets lack precision and can get pretty gross. But the synthetic head will blend in any harsh lipliners and let you get it just right.
Duo Silicone Brush Set, $4.50
This will literally transform your festival looks! Anyone who's ever tried to create a look with glitter knows it can get pretty messy – but the Glitter Application Brush gives precise application of both loose and cream pigments. The Silicone Eye Liner Brush nib allows for even more detail.
Eyeshadow Shading Brush, $4.50
This cool little brush is all you need to create an intense color pop on the lids. You can use it with powder or cream product (but, Team Primark hack: not both at the same time: it'll get cakey).
Concealer Brush, $3.50
This is your skin savior. Whether it’s eye bags or blemishes, just pop a little concealer on the domed brush and blend it into the skin. Remember: always set with a transparent powder to keep it looking fresher for longer.
Angled Eyeliner Brush, $2.50
Don’t be put off gel liners – they’re actually not that hard to work. To make your eyes look bigger, apply along the upper lash line and finish with a swipe of mascara.
Powder Brush, $4.50
Try swapping your powder sponge for a brush, for a more natural finish. The tapered head is good for precision application if you want it to double up as a bronzer brush. Bonus: it also fits neatly under the eyes for setting concealer.
Touch-Up Brush, $3.50
This is an on-the-go must for keeping your makeup shine-free and flawless. Pop the brush into your loose powder, tap off any excess and blot onto oily areas for a picture-ready finish.
Duo Blending Brush Set, $4.50
A smoky-eye girl’s dream, the eyeshadow blending brush sweeps color evenly across the lids, while the Socket Blending Brush has a tapered edge to fit the contours.
Duo Precision Brush Set, $4.50
This is the ultimate eye kit. The Tapered Crease Brush is for building intense color on the lids, for a wow-factor date night look. The Pencil Smudge Brush gives more precision, allowing controlled application along the lash line. FYI — it’s the best thing ever for applying highlighter down your nose and in the inner corners of your eye!
