The past few weeks we've been pushing ourselves to the limit, trialing the latest fitness trends like R&B Yoga, Power Ballet, Rumble, and TRX & Boxing interval training. In line with our new Workout launch, our press teams around the globe have hosted a series of events testing the collection's key pieces, to make sure they’re on-point. And believe us, they are! Our sculpting leggings, crop tops and matching sets will have you looking and feeling good to go, and performing optimally in every class.
So listen up - here's the 411 on our top 4 most fun and effective new workout classes of the year.
It’s all in the name - you guessed it: this is your fave yoga practice performed to the sound of totally sweet R&B. A-mazing, right? All the asanas (positions) are exactly the same - but the flows move with the beat for a more fluid and energetic session. We suggest our crop top and bottom sets for this one – this outfit will make it easy for you to channel your R&B/ J-Lo vibe. The style was born in Australia but caught on fast in Europe (via the US): it's being tipped by Yoga gurus as one of the top workout trends of 2016. It's a harmonious balance of dynamic exercise, relaxation...and fun. Where do we sign up?
Think of Power Ballet as ballet in fifth gear. AKA Cardio Ballet, in a short-but-sweet hour you perform easy-to-learn, elegant positions to fast-paced music. Considered a cardio class, it’ll help you tone up and lose weight, while also having a blast. Once you warm up and go from first through fifth and back again, you get to go all New York City Ballet in a group routine. For this class it’s all about keeping it classy – wear our prettiest pair of capris with pink trim and our supportive pink bra top. Remember all those lessons your mom sent you to? They're about to pay off.
TRX & Boxing Combo
Cardio and core are the focus of this class: throw in the TRX craze, and this workout trend is the year's must-try. The sessions show results quickly with a full-body workout including boxing, cardio and TRX training. An experienced trainer guides you through the (pretty intense) hour of calorie-burning moves - but don’t panic: the sessions are customized to each group's fitness level. Your individual results are continually measured and monitored for the boost you need to make it a regular thing. Dubbed ‘boutique boxing,’ Rumble is all about blowing off steam. 45 nonstop minutes will have you punching and kicking away at your very own punch bag, with moves that are great for the core. It’s another full-body workout - but this time there are no weights, so you can challenge your body in a completely different way. Lights are dimmed and music is played loud so you can really lose yourself. And the best part? You get two minutes at the end of the class to go crazy and take out whatever you want on the bag. Poor bag! :-) For this class, you'll serious need comfort - so you’re free to get as wild as you want. Go for our loose-fit tanks and comfy (but of course stylish) sneaks.
