If you had to describe your city in just three words, what would they be?

Cheerful, dynamic and cosmopolitan!

What's the best thing about your city?

Madrid has so many attractions: it’s a city that never sleeps. There are thousands of things to do, places to visit, restaurants and museums for every taste!

What is the one thing you always tell people about Madrid?

Madrid's a place not to miss! You can see the city in two days, but it takes a bit longer to get to know it well. Must-see stops: Gran Vía Street, Plaza de Callao, the Post Office building, Puerta de Alcalá, Retiro Park, the Almudena Cathedral, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Prado Museum, the district of Letters and Madrid River, Manzanares...

Top hacks for a successful shopping trip at your local Primark?

Primark has so many cool collections that are being constantly renewed, so my top tip would be to buy a total look every season. I always wear clothes that are on-trend. For example: this season the oversize denim jackets are a must, so I bought two styles. I love the pajamas and I always end up buying something in the home department – I love it!

What’s the best way to spend 24 hours in Madrid?

For breakfast I love something traditional. Toast with tomato and serrano ham – for this you have to try the Ham Museum. Although if you are looking for somewhere fancier, I recommend Le Pain Quotidien or Federal Café.

After breakfast we're ready to start the day with a visit to a museum or exhibition. Then we take a walk through the city center, around the famous Plaza Mayor, to have a drink enjoying one of its many terraces. And since we're already in the area, we have lunch in the lovely San Miguel Market – they have the best Spanish tapas! – so you get the full benefits of the famous Mediterranean diet.

Next on our list, Retiro Park: we can walk through its beautiful gardens, visit the Crystal Palace, take a boat ride on the lake or just take a nap in the shade of the trees... The best place to watch the sun set is from the terrace of El Circulo de Bellas Artes. There are panoramic views over the city, and fabulous atmosphere! For dinner, I'm thinking of several places...but I'd pick Habanera or Perrachica. They both have a delicious menu and great atmosphere.

What city haven't you visited yet, but would love to see?

I'd love to visit Amsterdam:  I can imagine myself strolling along the canals, having breakfast in one of its cozy cafés, or just taking a bike ride through the city.
