Gen Z: The Crazy Dreamers

As we  present our My Generation campaign, we celebrate each generation's lifestyle, what they're known for and how they like to live their lives. Meet Raquel Núñez Gil, one half of the duo Road To Wild. Passionate about travel and photography, their YouTube channel was born after a surf trip they took in 2014, traveling to New York via London and Fuerteventura. This adventurous spirit is always looking for new places to discover and share with her followers. Read on as she talks passionately about being part of the fearless Generation Z.

They say we're the generation that’ll change the world. That we're  the dreamers, the crazy non-conformists...and any other synonyms that describe our vast and global vibe. In reality, it’s impossible to sum us up in a few simple words.

 

It’s true: we do want to change the world. We believe in a better present and an outstanding future because we’re crazy enough to dream. We believe we have all the tools necessary to work towards the dazzling future we want to live – and if we don’t, we manage to get our hands on them anyway. 

 

We're a self-taught generation without fear of tripping over again and again – just as long as with each fall we learn a lesson along the way. And get back up even stronger than before. We're a generation with a deep global conscience that fights for what we believe in. We live in a social  media society that lets us join forces, to thrive and achieve our common goals.

We can’t deny the obvious – that we don’t conform to the norm – because it’s reflected in every action and every decision we make. In our careers, we have a stronger entrepreneurial spirit than ever before. We're adventurers who love traveling the world, finding the latest fashion trends, eating in the newest restaurants in town, or living extreme experiences around the globe.

 

Even our buying style gives us away: we look for different things that express our inner self. We’re living in an incredible moment in the fashion world: brands are fighting to cater to everyone, so they create a vast array of choices. So through our clothes, we can project a unique image of ourselves.

 

Why are we the way we are? Why do we pursue the dream of making living doing what we're passionate about? I’m can't really answer that. But it’s fun, it’s pricey...and without a doubt, it’s worth it! We’re fearless.
