1. What do you do at Primark?
I’m the assistant buyer in the womenswear license department: I work with designers from licensing companies like Disney to build amazing product. I’m involved right from the start of the design process, mixing current trends with branded characters to make the final piece as on-trend as possible. I work throughout all product areas including sweatshirts, T-shirts, swimwear, and denim (to name a few!).

2. How did you collaborate with Disney on the Spring 2018 collection?
We started by sitting down to pull together inspirational mood boards that reflected how we wanted the collection to look. The designers worked on a range of pieces that included key season details – like stripes and embroidery – to make sure everything looked as on-point as possible. I made sure we featured a variety of Disney characters – because everyone has a different opinion of what's classically Disney!

3. What's the best part of your job?
I love clothes, so I’d have to say being around clothes all day long! Working on license can be really fun, too – there are so many cute and trendy things you can do with the different characters.

4. Which pieces from the collection do you totally need?
I love the Mickey cap– it’s a really nice nod to Disney without being too obvious. The Donald Duck top is super cute too!
5. Who's your favourite Disney character and why?
I’d have to say Donald Duck. When I was 4, I got to go to Disneyland Paris and followed Donald around the cafe – I held onto his tail for about 2 hours, photobombing everyone else’s pics! Yep: I’m that annoying kid in your Disney photos – sorry!
