A1. We are conducting this recall because the Plates have been found to release trace amounts of lead and formaldehyde at levels higher than allowed, and this may present a risk if ingested.
Q2. How can I tell if my Plate is affected by the recall?
A2. The Plates’ Kimball Numbers are 6041901, 7981401, 8096001, and 8096002. The number is located on the product packaging.
Q3. How can I return my Plate?
A3. Please bring your Plate to your local Primark store to receive a full refund. No receipt will be necessary for the refund.
Q4. I no longer have the receipt for the Plate. Can I still return it?
A4. Yes. Even if you don’t have a receipt, you can return the Plates and receive a full refund.
Q5. Can I get a refund without returning my plate to the store?
A5. Yes. You can sign an affidavit, stating that you purchased the plate and have properly disposed of it. You will then e-mail the executed affidavit to Primark at PrimarkUSRetailSupport@primark.com, and once we receive your affidavit, Primark will mail you a Visa gift card or a check.
Q6. My Plates are fine and do not have an issue. Can I continue to use them?
A6. No. We are asking all users to immediately stop using these products and return them to us for a full refund.
