How to Celebrate July 4th This Year
4th of July is bound to feel a bit different this year, but summer is not cancelled so it’s important to still take time to celebrate our favorite summer traditions! We’re giving you permission to have a day filled with food, fun and friendship (even if it is virtually). Scroll down for some of our easy Independence Day celebration ideas alongside 4th of July coloring pages to keep the kids entertained. Happy 4th!
Connect With Nature
This year why not head to the closest lake or the beach and sunbathe before taking a dip in the water to cool off? If you prefer to keep active, then a family hike at dawn or dusk is the perfect way to begin and end the day.
Food is one of the most important parts of a successful Independence Day celebration. There’s no better way to bond with family than popping on some music, cooking and sharing a meal together. Enjoy!
Create your own sports day at home with the kids by splitting into teams and playing a game of baseball or tug of war. The best part? The losing team has to wash the dishes 😉.
What’s 4th of July without Fireworks? Check your local listings for televised fireworks so you can enjoy the view from the comfort of your own home as you dive in for desserts.
