Older Girls': Snowy Sparkle
Just because the weather is getting a tad on the chilly side, that doesn’t mean your little lady has to sacrifice her love for all things glitzy – and this week’s look is testament to that. With its subtle injection of sparkle, she’ll be reflecting icicles from all angles with this outfit.
We’ve gone back to basics, taking classic cuts and modernising with gemstones and patent finishes. The soft grey jumper is a great all-rounder for her autumn/winter wardrobe – almost as much of a staple as the roll-up jeans that we decided to pair the aforementioned with.
The burgundy boots are perfect for kicking around in fallen leaves and, with their handy zip-up fastening, will ensure she doesn’t have to waste any time fiddling with laces while everyone’s off to the park.
This outfit is versatile enough to take her from playtime, to the shopping centre, then off to the grandparents’ with complete ease. The jumper detail is also special enough for those party occasions.
For days when she’s feeling a skirt and tights combo, factor in a denim button-up number and some opaque black tights. If there’s a nip in the air, layering will be her best friend: pop a collared shirt under the jumper to ensure the chill stays at bay.
A faux-fur-lined hooded coat will work on wintery days. For more playful occasions, you can switch out the burgundy boots for a pair of trainers that will look right at home with the roll-up denim.
When it comes to accessories, you can play it up with a sparkly matching satchel for fancy days, or a cute patterned backpack suitable for kids on the go– don’t let her forget a thing!
