#OOTD Simon Glazin: LCM
This season we were lucky enough to work with freelance journalist and fashion blogger Simon Glazin during London Collections:Men. We invited Simon to showcase his favourite Primark look at the shows and out his own styling twist on the current menswear collection.
Simon’s usual styles mix and matches high street with designer labels but the high street is his go to place for everyday basics and transseasonal items. “I love mixing high street and luxury,” explained Simon. “I wore the printed T-shirt with a pair of Vivienne Westwood jeans the other day. It's all about how you wear something, you could wear luxury from head-to-toe but it might not look great. Mixing it up is the way forward!”
With a love for bold prints and graphics, this monochrome t-shirt was a perfect addition to Simon’s wardrobe and the longerline silhouette made it sit perfectly within the street/sports fusion trend still making waves on the highstreet. “You don’t have to spend a lot of money to create great style, you can put together a great outfit for relatively little nowadays. A printed long line T-shirt goes a long way,” explained Simon.
In a move away from his usual street style, the Farrell navy mac caught Simon’s eye and added the perfect finishing touch to this LCM look – not to mention being perfect for the rainstorm that followed later that day! This easy-to-wear mac, allowed Simon to buy into a more formal side of the collection and is something he can team with everyday basic for season to come. “Primark menswear has really improved, and is doing great things for the British high street!”
