Alpine Adventure: A/W 15 Menswear
This autumn/winter 2015, we're embarking on an alpine adventure. Exploring the peaks and valleys provided by Chamonix's dazzling and distinctive landscape.
Protection from the colder temperatures is provided by layering up and switching from lighter options to heavier fabrics via woollen garments such as beanie hats, socks, jumpers and cardigans helping to combat the climate stylishly.
When thinking of layering it’s about building up the outfit starting with the lighter options such as checked shirts with a shawl-collared cardigan placed on top finished off with a jacket such as a trimmed parka, padded bomber or a quilted field jacket.

The colour palette remains muted with charcoal grey, khaki, oatmeal and navy dominating the trend. Pattern comes into play via the checked shirts with calm and cool hues like light blue and sandy tones. Emphasis is placed on texture with ribbed beanies, fringed scarves, diamond-quilted jackets and cable knitted cardigans.
Denim comes in skinny and slim fits with a slight roll up exposing woollen socks. This helps to showcase the diverse range of high-top footwear on offer. Shoes vary from the smart such as the an expansive selection of boots like the Chelsea, brogue, hiking and desert. Casual options includes running trainers and basketball inspired mid tops.
