Farrell- AW 15
Farrell is a result of the collaboration between Primark and the international record-breaking artist, Robbie Williams. The line was originally created as a tribute to his grandfather, a notable dresser in his hometown in the north of England, Stoke on Trent.
Farrell borrows the surname of Williams grandfather, in which the brands values and style, is based upon. Robbie explains ‘Jack Farrell was my granddad he fought in the Second World War and he worked down the pit all of his life, after being a soldier. He had a tough life, but he always dressed well and his attire was always spiffy. That’s what I remember about him the most’
‘This season for Farrell I wanted to explore good old British history and heritage…. tweed / wool suiting and checked shirts, like my grandfather would have worn. Then pieces like the Harrington Jacket to the Mod-inspired parka’ are more iconic shapes that, for me, define looks from the 60’s’ - Robbie Williams
English heritage is explored across the board with items rooted in Britishness. This is evident in the tweed suit; both the garment and fabric are iconic British symbols. Updated in design, fit and cut with specks of colour woven into the fabric adding that dash of modernity.
The collection serves an offering of effortless style, updating wardrobe basics. From leather shoes that come in a selection of fashions including classics such as the oxford and brogue. To premium jackets in suede and leather, quality clothing at affordable price points.
