Farrell Autumn 16
Farrell’s latest collection offers premium trend-led fashion at affordable price points, allowing for deluxe looks that are big on quality and small on price! Luxury sits at the centre of the collection’s core emphasised in the fabrications used such as brushed cotton, tweed, heavy weight jersey, selvedge denim and jacquard techniques.
The range is predominately inspired by 1950’s workwear, evident in this seasons camel and navy military jackets and also in the shackets that comes in durable textiles. Sportswear influences also form part of the collection playing out via the selection of jersey joggers and matching hooded tops.
Moving on from the light layers of summer, Farrell’s signature offerings of check shirts come cut in heavier flannel fabrications, whilst the ubiquitous logo print is displayed across heavier grade T-shirts, sweats, hoodies and jogging bottoms. Both options are refreshed for the new season in muted tones of navy, khaki, olive and burgundy, which ties directly into the brands overall palette for autumn.
Slick looks can be constructed by wearing the tweed blazer and waistcoat, this can be sharpened up with a white shirt, tailored trousers and wingtips, or dialled down with a checked shirt, selvedge denim and baseball shoes.
For the smart casual approach think of a checked shirt, paired with textured chinos and rounded off with a pair of desert boots. If the Athelisure trend is a look you want to opt into then a shacket partnered with a t-shirt, joggers and low top trainers would be an ideal option.
For the off duty look think about the perfect pairing of a logo print hoodie and it’s jogger bottom counterpart, for cooler days a t-shirt can be worn underneath and used as a layer. Complete the look with a pair of navy tennis shoes that complements tracksuits burgundy tone perfectly.
