5 Editor-Approved Party Looks
When the fash pack gets excited about something, you know you need to get in on it fast. So, when the glamazons at Glamour certified an edit full of sparkle, shimmer, shine, and general party-ready goodness, we couldn’t wait to share the goss with you. They may say all that glitters isn’t gold, but as long as there are sequins, lamé, iridescence, and metallic knits involved, we’re happy! Scroll through below for some serious inspo just in time for AW16’s glitter-fuelled party season. Are you ready?
Coat £28, dress £10, jumper £6, bag £7, shoes £14
Dress £18, bomber jacket £15, boots £15
The upcoming party season is absolutely laden with sequins – from bombers, to bags, and boots. Whether it’s a mini dress (Studio 54, yes please), or a mermaid-hued bomber jacket, the allure of the sequin knows no bounds. The tiny shiny circles will also look increds on the dance floor – for best results, accessorise with a disco ball and a stage!
Blouse £12, skirt £8
The shiny spectrum doesn’t stop at sequins. There’s a ton of metallic goodness gleaming into the party season, *almost* at the speed of light. You’ve probably nailed this trend already, as it’s been a big player for spring/summer, so grab your metallic backpacks and don your dancing boots: it’s time to party like it's 1975! If you’re yet to dabble in metallics, firstly: where have you been, girl? And secondly, grab a silver-finish mini skirt, stat.
Dress £13, bag £7
Bomber jacket £25, top £6
Fabrics are just as luxurious as all the embellishment and fancy finishes you’ll spy this season. Plissé is storming the coordinating separates department, while velvet is everywhere (yep, even lingerie!), and metallic yarns are weaving their way through all the knitwear. Essentially, your party-prepped wardrobe should encompass more than a little sparkle if you want to do things right this season.
