Time To Soft Pop
For days when the sun just can’t find his hat, say hello to our sweet and playful summer trend – the kitsch solution to those clinging winter sniffles and 5 layers of knitwear - Soft Pop. There’s only one rule to our favourite new homeware trend – have some fun. It’s time to embrace colour, for real. Think whimsical daydreams, unicorns and clouds, but a little more accessible… time to get spending!
Wave goodbye to sickly shades stuck on the walls of children’s bedrooms – powdery pastels are back in the interior world, and they’re bolder than ever. Don’t believe us? The VIP’s at Pantone have named pink as their 2016 colour of the year – rejoice! Need we give you more of an excuse to get decorating? From pale mint to rose pink, pastels may have ‘grown up’, but they’re just as fun.
We’re satisfying sweet tooths, without the sugar guilt, and welcoming some of our favourite treats (mmm ice cream), in accessory form. This trend deliciously balances light blocks of matte milky hues with pastel greys, and sprinkles some fabulous metallics throughout the collection to keep rose gold palettes satisfied.
Delve into our wonderland of bubblegum pinks, sweet berry tones and yummy milkshake shades: this magical trend will perk up your pad, add a smile to your face (and print one on your soap dispenser), and reinvigorate your imagination.

Embrace pops of polka dot with these cutesy cushions, the perfect accessory to a dressing table chair, or stack an assortment of your faves on our doughnut bedding (which is good enough to eat btw). We’ve really mastered the ‘best bits’ of interiors - cheekily nodding to the 80’s with retro checks and showcasing a spectrum of soft pastel tones on geometric prints. We’ll have you craving your favourite retro sweets in no time (Love Hearts anyone?)
Our top tips for ‘soft popping’ your living space are as follows: embrace colour with a specific scheme - turquoise is perfect for brightening a room, or truly ‘pop’ the room with accents of lilac and sherbet yellow. Think frills, fruits and flamingos whilst sticking to our mantra of FUN. And if that’s not enough sugary goodness to get you to the dentist, it’s time you rediscovered that My Little Pony collection, invested in some hair chalk to take this trend street-style, and snacked on some strawberry laces – deeelicious!
