If gym closures forced you to get creative with your workout routine last year you’re might be tired of hunting the house for random items you can substitute for weights. But, whether you’ve got at-home gym equipment or not nothing should get in the way of your full body workout.

Keep A Routine

Staying motivated is tricky, especially with government restrictions in place, but integrating exercise into your daily routine is key to keeping it up. Work out when it suits you best and stick to the same times or days to give you a little routine in these turbulent times.

Recreate The Atmosphere

If you usually workout at the gym then recreating that environment at home can be difficult but a few easy tricks can help you get into the zone. Remove distractions such as televisions and put on a playlist that you’d usually listen to on the treadmill. Prep towels and water bottles too, just as you would for a gym visit.

Go Bright

Darker evenings and mornings are the perfect excuse to bust out your boldest, brightest workout gear. Adding a pop of colour to your look or equipment is a great mood booster too.

Add Accessories

Resistance bands are ideal for taking things up a notch and slick jump ropes will get your adrenaline pumping. Perhaps you took up running in 2020 as an excuse to get out of the house? Arm running bands and waist belts are must-haves for keeping your essentials safe while you pound the pavements.
