New York might be the city that never sleeps, but Aimee Kelly proves it’s also the city that never misses a look! From sunrise steps by the Brooklyn Bridge to golden hour with the skyline as her backdrop, her day is a combination of comfort, color, and effortlessly styled moments. Here’s how she took on the city, one outfit at a time.
“A typical weekend here? Brunch at Sunday in Brooklyn, a chop cheese from Brooklyn Gourmet Deli, or maybe tacos at Birria Landia. Then it’s Beats Karaoke with friends, or just wandering the streets and soaking it all in.”
Morning movement
While most of New York is still snoozing, Aimee is already making moves by the Brooklyn waterfront in our sleek navy and white workout set. “Walking the Brooklyn Bridge has been a favorite of mine since high school.” The real pop is in her cherry-red socks and crisp white sneakers. Bonus points for stylish headphones, perfect for that hot-girl-walk playlist.
Mid-morning coffee
Post-workout glow achieved, it’s time for a little treat (and an outfit change, obviously!) Aimee switches her sneakers for embellished ballet flats paired with a playful, white button-down shirt, a blue skirt, and a matching tote bag to nail that preppy aesthetic. “For food, I’d start with matcha at Kettl, it’s the perfect spot to kick off the day.”
Afternoon city stroll
For her midday wander, Aimee is wandering the vibrant streets of Dumbo. A denim skirt, butter yellow textured top, oversized sunglasses, and our white slouchy purse make for the perfect afternoon look. Her black faux-leather sandals prove that kitten heels can be just as chic and comfortable as ballet flats in the city.
Aimee’s style is rooted in New York’s diversity. “I believe my personal style has been influenced by the overall NYC vibes. Growing up in NYC really shapes you in all ways, and since it’s so diverse, I feel like that’s translated into how I style my outfits.”
Golden hour
Golden hour sees Aimee at the waterfront again (outfit change included). This time, hanging out with friends at a picture-perfect scene. The Brooklyn Bridge, the skyline, the look — it’s all begging to be on her next photo dump! “This co-ord is fun, with a dash of color, but mostly comfortable to walk around the city.” Amy wears our viral black midi skirt co-ord, splashed with statement red florals.
“My number one accessory tip? Always add more! Whether that’s more jewelry, a belt, a scarf on my head, maybe even a big bag. Accessorising has the power to make or break the outfit.” Aimee completes the look with a small, quilted burgundy clutch for a rich pop of color, while gold-tone hoops and layered necklaces add an effortlessly glam touch.
Bedtime wind-down
Back at home, the heels are off, the hair is up, and the pajamas are on. Aimee ends her nighttime skincare routine with our cooling under-eye patches as she flips through the day’s photos, sending her favorites to the group chat!
