Ever thought of making your own homemade face scrub or mask? Here’s some of our fave DIY beauty hacks to help you plan the perfect spa day.

Homemade Face Scrub & Mask

Make your own homemade face scrub using your favorite face wash and some table salt for an easy 2-in-1 facial Love to soak in the bath with a face mask? Grab some ground oats, honey and an egg yolk and combine together. This beautiful mask has exfoliating and brightening qualities that’ll leave you glowing.

DIY Lip Scrub

Here's how you can make your own homemade lip scrub using common household ingredients. Just mix 1 tsp of sugar with 1 tsp of honey and scrub away. Want to add some refreshing scents? Add a couple drops of your favorite essential oils.

DIY Undereye Treatment Need help soothing tired eyes? Just cut cotton pads in half, dampen with water and refrigerate. When you’re ready, drop your favorite serum onto the pads and place under your eyes. Our personal fave is our Vitamin C oil, which helps brighten the under eye area.

DIY Infused Water

Keep your whole body hydrated, too: create a refreshing spa beverage with some cucumbers, berries, mint, and your favorite citrus fruits. Slice them up and drop them in a large pitcher or bottle filled with water. Infuse your H20 overnight or for a few hours before drinking. Use any extra slices of fruit as snacks throughout your spa day, or place the cucumbers under your eyes to help reduce puffiness.

DIY Dry Hands Beauty Hacks

With all the extra hand washing we're doing these days, our hands are often super dry. So to help you rejuvenate dehydrated skin, try our simple treatment for soft palms. Start by softening your hands in lukewarm soapy water.

Then using a mixture of table salt and olive oil, you'll have your own scrub to help eliminate dead skin. Rinse off and pat dry before naturally pushing back your cuticles and removing hangnails with cuticle scissors. Choose a cream or balm to moisturize your hands. Remember to apply a few drops of oil to your cuticles to hydrate them, too!

Our Top Beauty Hack: Wear cotton gloves overnight to intensify the hydration process. No gloves? No worries: cotton socks will do the trick too!

How to Use Your New Skincare Routine

1. Start your facial by using a face wash to remove any makeup or build up on your skin.

2. Then use our DIY scrub to gently remove dead skin cells and bring vitamins and minerals to the surface. Rinse and pat dry.

3. Apply your face mask, add your DIY eye patches and let them sit for 10 minutes, then apply the DIY lip scrub. Massage. To remove, use a warm, damp towel.

4. Once your face is dry, apply your favorite serum and use a facial roller to move the product into your skin, massaging in upwards motions from the neck up: this will help aid absorption and the drainage of any puffiness.

Dreamy Bath Time Wellbeing Tips

Get those candles lit and start prepping your dream bubble bath. While the water's running, sprinkle in bath salts and add a few drops of oil for moisturized skin post-bath. Pour in some scented bath foam (or drop in a bath bomb if you’re feeling fancy).

Get your loofah ready, and bring in your towel and PJs so you can cuddle up in cozy clothes right after you’ve soaked. Now all you have to do to up your self-care game is slip into your bath, grab a book, or listen to a podcast and treat yourself to some fruit infused water, fresh fruit, or a cup of herbal tea.
