Grandpa core style
Wondering what grandpa core is? Also known as ‘eclectic grandpa’, this surging trend is inspired, as the name suggests, by how a grandpa would typically dress — think nostalgic, retro and gender-neutral pieces with a comfort-first approach.
Embracing the trend doesn’t have to mean an overhaul of your current wardrobe, it’s all about key pieces that you can use to add layering, texture and print. Take the knitted vest — nostalgically associated with cricket, it’s now a great way to veer away from current knitwear trends and add a vintage look to your outfit. Team with a classic trench coat (ours has a hood!), then offset with printed tees, colourful accessories and footwear.
For kookier knitwear options, it’s all about argyle print. Looking for a retro take on a twinset? Pair our argyle knitted cardigan with the matching vest and style over the top of a white shirt.
