How to choose individual lashes

Consider the length

Decide on what makeup look/aesthetic you’re going for. Shorter lashes are great for a natural, everyday vibe, while longer ones give a dramatic, full-glam effect.

Choose the thickness

Thin, cluster lashes blend seamlessly for a subtle enhancement, while our thicker options create a bold, voluminous look that draws attention to your eyes.

Inspect the lashes at the base

Check if the lash clusters have a clear or dark band. Clear bands are ideal for a more natural finish, while dark bands add definition and pair well with eyeliner for a dramatic look.

Check the lash glue

Some individual lash packs include adhesive glue, while others require you to purchase it separately. Always ensure you’re using a high-quality, long-lasting adhesive. Luckily for you, our eyelash glue range ticks all the boxes you need for a secured staying power.

How to apply individual lashes

1.     Prepare your natural lashes

Starting with clean lashes is essential. Gently wash your eyelashes and eyelids with a mild face cleanser to remove any leftover makeup or dirt. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry using a soft cloth or our reusable cleansing pads.

2.     Use eyelash tools

Using an eyelash curler helps shape your natural lashes, allowing false styles to blend seamlessly. Once curled, use tweezers or a lash applicator to gently pick up an individual cluster from the packaging tray. Tip: grasp the lash near the base for better control.

3.     Apply lash glue

Carefully apply a small amount of lash glue to the base of the individual lash. For better control, you can also place a small dot of glue onto a tray and gently dab the lash into it. Allow the glue to sit for 10-15 seconds until it becomes tacky (which creates a firmer hold when applied).

4.     Place the lashes

Starting at the outer corner of your eye, place a short lash cluster on your lash line as close to your natural lashes as possible. Hold it in place for a few seconds—and voila! Repeat the process along your lash line, gradually increasing the lash size as you go.

5.     Adjust and bend into shape

Once all lashes are applied, gently press them into place using your fingers or eyelash tools. Some may need tweaking so don’t be afraid to remove and reapply until you are satisfied with the result. Remember, they are supposed to look as natural as possible.

FAQs

How long do individual false eyelashes last?

Depending on the lash glue and style, indivudal false lashes can last anywhere from a few hours, to a full day – perfect for special occasions or short-term use.

How do I remove individual false eyelashes?

To remove, gently massage your eyelids using a gentle cleanser to dissolve the adhesive glue and lift the lashes away from your natural lash line. Or, soak a reusable cotton pad with miceller water and press it onto your lash line for 15-20 seconds.

Do you glue individual lashes onto your skin or lashes?

Individual lashes should be glued onto the lash line, not directly onto your skin.

Are individual false lashes easier to apply than lash strips?

This depends on your personal preference, skill level, and the makeup look you want to achieve. Individual false eyelashes offer precise enhancement and often blend seamlessly with your natural lashes—making them a great choice for beginners seeking a subtle effect. On the other hand, strip lashes are a quicker alternative for adding instant glam and typically feature a flexible band that makes them easier to shape and apply.

Can I reuse individual false lashes?

Yes, you can reuse your false eyelashes, but it depends on how well you care for them during and after use. Post-removal, gently clean off any residual glue or mascara using warm water and a mild soap. Leave them to air dry completely before storing them safely in their original packaging or a clean container.
