If there’s one item your autumn wardrobe desperately needs, it’s a trusty lightweight raincoat or hooded jacket. These comfy outerwear options keep you nice and dry without overheating you – making them the perfect choice for autumn. But what weather resistant materials should you be looking out for? We’ve all been there. We wake up with autumnal rays of sunshine shining through, only to find out it’s actually quite chilly outside! Sure, we could stay glued to the weather apps, changing outfits as the day goes by, but we’ve got a better solution…

For clothing that won’t let you down this autumn, here’s our absolute must-haves:

Padded Gilet

This body warmer is probably our top autumn wardrobe item. It keeps us warm where it really matters, whilst giving us the freedom to have our arms out. It’s the perfect transitional item come end of summer, beginning of autumn! When it comes to sleeveless jackets, we get a huge range of materials to pick from - but our absolute favourite for autumn is the quilted gilet. It’s super comfy and keeps us extra warm. What’s not to love?

Plus, puffer gilets are the ultimate layering item. And we all know that autumn is ALL about layering! Style yours with a long sleeve tee, wear it over a bodycon dress or give it the 90s treatment by pairing it with low-rise trousers, a crop top and gold hoop earrings.
